fCAL® turbo for the Swedish market

Gentian Diagnostics AB distribute the BÜHLMANN fCAL® turbo to the Swedish market. The immunoassay is an automated in vitro diagnostic test for the quantitative determination of calprotectin in human stool specimens intended as an aid in the assessment of intestinal mucosal inflammation.


The assay can be run on most major clinical chemistry analysers.

BÜHLMANN fCAL® turbo allows very rapid and flexible random access use, as well as being the ideal solution for high throughput applications in the routine laboratory. The assay can be applied on most automated platforms in clinical chemistry and allows short turnaround time from stool sample to reportable result:

The assay is standardised against the well established BÜHLMANN fCAL® ELISA. PETIA methodology offers high precision and reproducibility


Immunoturbiometric assays can be applied to most clinical chemistry platforms, allows random access workflow which can be directly integrated into the existing laboratory infrastructure
